Check out MGMT’s new album, Congratulations, in it’s entirety on whoismgmt.com. The album leaked onto the internet so the band decided to screw it and just post it on it’s blog. You can’t download it through their site though; they still want you to go out and buy it. After all, they spent a ton of time on the project and want to make at least a little cash. You can try downloading it on Rapidshare or Filestube or something along those lines, but those are pretty sketchy sites and your computer may come down with a nasty virus. Possibly worth it. The album is sicker than your average virus.

To be honest, it’s really growing on me now. At first I thought to myself, “These dudes really have to lay off the acid.” because it’s just so damn psychadelic. I mean, it’s obvious that they were trippin’ on something when they recorded the Oracular Spectacular album, but that turned out dope as shit. This album is totally different, but is ridiculously chill and artsy If you’re looking for a continuation of Oracular Spectacular, you won’t find it, but Congratulations deserves just that. Congratulations MGMT for coming through and delivering this trippy bundle of joy. Check it out. You’re in for a ride.
