Joey Saponaro

The MuSiK Box is proud to call J. Sap on of our own. This Cleveland native has been pumping out track after track and they’re only getting better, this being my favorite yet. He goes in over the classic 5 On It beat. Check it out and be sure to become a fan of him on his Facebook and his Bandcamp.

Blueprint is raw when it comes to underground hip hop. His 8 Million Stories album with RJD2 (known together as Soul Position) was phenomenal. He’s going to be on Atmosphere’s upcoming tour, which also features Grieves, so it’ll be a good one. This video is from his new EP Blueprint Who which you can download for free at http://printmatic.net.

The Catalyst Linkin Park

This is a fantastic hip-hop remix to a great song by Linkin Park. King Fantastic does their thing, so I’ll let them tell you about it:

Good Day Gangsters.

So, our homies Linkin Park have a new album dropping and they hit up these gutter motherfuckers to remix their lead single, “The Catalyst.”

Even better, they requested we make the remix for our fans, rather than theirs, which in the remix world is never the case. God bless them.

Chiddy Bang The Preview

First off much love to Spin Magazine for this new joint. Xaphoon gets a little help with production from guru Pharrell and Chiddy spits hard as usual. This song will be featured on the duo’s The Preview EP which you can preview after the jump. It’s scheduled to drop October 12th and is a gift from them to us as an apology for pushing back their debut album yet again. Enjoy.

Chiddy Bang Fuck You

Sooooo good! The original by Cee-Lo Green is incredible but Chiddy takes it for a unique spin with Xaphoon producing.

From Philly Chiddy:

The new track is finally here.  Sunday evening, Chiddy tweeted that he would leak a new song.  However a couple hours later he assured the fans that it would be released the next day.  Xaphoon tweeted yesterday that it would come soon and today we have it!  We, at PhillyChiddy.com, got the hook up from Chiddy Bang.  The new song is a remix of the popular “Fuck You” by Cee-Lo Green.  You’ve heard 50 Cent go in over it, but Chiddy Bang brings it to another level.  This remix features verses from Chiddy and production from Xaphoon Jones.  Take a listen below!  As the summer comes to an end, I know I’ll be cruisin’, windows down, bumpin’ hard.  Enjoy.

Villematic

J. Cole hops on Kanye’s recent “Devil in a New Dress” instrumental and, as usual, kills it. Cole’s been talking about possibly dropping a new mixtape inspired by Nas, and many are saying this is the first leak. I sure hope so.
