We brought you two of SomeWhere Else’s tracks before this, and told you all about how they won the 2008 International Battle of the Bands. We raved about how great they were, how unique their sound was. We told you how they’re a breath of fresh air to the hip-hop/indie rock genres. Now, you can download the entire album and see all this for yourself. Enjoy!
Cool remix here by Holiday Parade. They do a sort of pop/punk remake of a mix of 3 very well known hip-hop songs. The result is super creative and catchy. Download it below!
Super catchy summer feel from this Brazilian pop group. The video matches Rosie and Me’s sound perfectly – it’s sunny, colorful, and warm, just as a Brazilian pop-folk music video should be. MTV Brazil will be showcasing the video soon. Grab the mp3 below as well.
I know how sick all of you have to be of B.o.B. and Hayley Williams’s Airplanes, but this Collin McLoughlin remix is dope. He’s got an awesome voice and gets creative with a new message. Check it out below and see for yourself.
We brought you Taboo by this group of three emcees and a guitarist a couple days ago and today we bring you Make It. Here’s the deal with their mixtape, Master Basement. It was released today (8/9) on their site, TheeWebsite.com/SomeWhereElse where you can stream the entire thing. Listen to it all. It’s amazing. Fans will also be able to download each track from the album for free every Monday in album order. That seems really complicated, but with music as good as theirs, it’s worth it. I mean, these dudes did win 2008′s International Battle of the Bands.
I’m reaaaaaallly digging this group here. I mean, how often do you find a hip-hop group that has three emcees and a guitar? SomeWhere else won the 2008 International Battle of the Bands but have laid low ever since. This is the first single off their debut album, Master Basement, which has me very excited.
Florence And The Machine’s music seems to be so remixable. So many remixes have surfaced lately, and this is just one of the many dope ones. Check it out below and download it.
Chill Cudi Remix. This is shit only Clevelanders can truly remember. Man On the Moon was one of Cudder’s first big hits around this area, coupled with Dat New New. Check out the mashup with The Postal Service below and download it.
