First Mike Posner, then KiD CuDi, and now J. Cole….probably my three favorite upcoming artists right now have all released crazy good songs. J. Cole, who has literally never dissappointed me with a track of his, teamed up with super-producer Jim Jonsin (“Lollipop,” “Whatever You Like”) for this song. Though it sounds unfinished, it’s definitely worth a listen/download.
I can’t seem to find where this joint came from, but it’s dirty. J. Cole (as usual) murders it lyrically, but it’s got a cool, different sound to it. If I had to guess, I’d say this is probably an album track.
J. Cole absolutely MURDERS this track lyrically. But then again, he does the same thing on pretty much every song he’s one. Definitely one of my top three favorite upcomers, I’m expecting his debut album to be one of (or THE) best of the year.
New J. Cole. It’s from an upcoming Tapemasters, Inc. mixtape, so we’re not exactly sure what J. Cole intended it to be on. It might even be from his upcoming album (Tapemasters usually gets leaks like that). It’s really catchy, and we’ll update the link as soon as the untagged version drops.
Update: Hit the Download Link for the Tagless Version
Updated: Here’s the final version of J. Cole’s first single from his upcoming album which is still untitled. (Although there’s been rumors that it’s going to be called The Blow Up or Cole World). This song is ridiculous and it’s a good idea of how crazy J. Cole’s debut album is gonna be. Get it below.
This track was supposed to be on DJ Khaled’s album Victory. It didn’t make the cut somehow, which is surprising considering this would probably be one of the hottest joints on it. Check it out below and make sure to download it.
I’m not usually one to post live performance videos, but the sound quality on this one is surprisingly good. Also, it’s the first single from J. Cole’s upcoming album, which I’m extremely excited for. It sounds cool. I can’t wait for the CDQ of this one.
This playlist, put together by DJ Benzi, is a must have. It is a ton of remixes from the mega music festival SXSW in Houston and features artists like Mike Posner, Chiddy Bang, Wale, J. Cole, Asher Roth, Curren$y, Xaphoon Jones, 2AM Club, and more. It’s like they checked out our site and put together a mixtape of our most mentioned artists. It’s perfect. Preview it below and make sure you download it.
This is an R&B track and honestly, I can barely stand R&B but J. Cole kills yet another verse on this one so I had to post it. Check it out below and download it.
Lupe announced via Twitter yesterday that a new group, called the “All City Chess Club,” was in the studio. Later, he put out the above tweet saying who was in the group. We’re not exactly sure what they’re working on together, but it’s no doubt going to be an amazing project. I can’t imagine how cool it would be if all of those guys did an album, mixtape, or even just a song together.
