So I’m not sure why this video just came out when the song’s been popular for so long but I can take a guess…they filmed Weezy’s part when Gucci was in jail and then Gucci was released and Wayne went to the joint. Gucci presumably just got this recorded and it finally got released. Regardless, it’s a pretty boring video to a less than stellar song. The beat is outrageously awesome, Weezy’s got a nice verse, and Gucci Mane demonstrates his usual lyrical autism. They just walk around their homes and smoke a J while showing off their ice and hardware. Pretty nice editing by DJ Scoob Doo though.
Another single off of Eminem’s album (which already leaked…go ahead and get it off a torrent site, you’re playing Russian Roulette with a nasty virus). It’s dirt sauce for sure. I like Wayne’s verse more than Shady’s but they’re both really good. The sample from “What is Love, Baby Don’t Hurt Me” is tight.
The more I listen to this song, the less I’m feeling it. I really don’t like the production by Boi-1-da, but Drake’s verse is good. Lil Wayne’s? Decent.
Very nice mix of artists here. Ranging from reggae, to pop, to classic hip-hop, to new school rap, these 4 artists combine to make a nice track. With every leak, the collabo album of Nas & Damien gets me more and more excited. Potentially the album of the year. Check it out below and download it.
Yes…this actually is a mashup of Lil Wayne and the theme music from The Office. It’s one of the most creative mashups I’ve heard in a long time, so check it out and enjoy.
Even if you’ve heard of jj before, chances are you know absolutely nothing about the duo. In fact, after taking to the World Wide Web to try to dig up some information on the Swedish pop band, the only thing I was able to find out was that it consists of some guy named Jaokim Benon and some girl named Elin Kastlander. Regardless, the one thing you will find from them is a lot of good music. Falling somewhere between pop and electronic, jj has some great songs, and Elin’s got an amazing voice. What’s more is that the duo appears to have a strange obsession with Lil Wayne, using him or his influences in three of their best songs.
In the first song, entitled “Ecstasy,” jj manages to create a trippy, drug-inspired track from a Lil Wayne song (ironic, right?). In “My Life,” they take the hook from The Game and Lil Wayne’s song of the same name and give it to us in a completely different way. It’s nice hearing someone deliver Lil Wayne lines in a not-so-raspy voice, and I’m not talking about when your girlfriend tries to rap to every Wayne song that comes on the radio. Finally, for “My Way,” jj integrates an actual Weezy verse into one of their songs, and the result is pretty cool. Check out all the songs below, and let us know what you think.
Check out new tracks from Jay-Z & Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne ft. Pharell, B.o.B., and Wiz Khalifa. Jay-Z teamed up with Snoop Dogg to remix Snoop’s single “I Wanna Rock” and it’s pretty tight. The last three tracks are not full songs. They’re probably just sneak peaks at upcoming full length songs, but they’re dope regardless. Check them out and download them below.
Though we at The MuSiK Box aren’t the biggest fans of Young Money (Drake and Weezy are great, but Lil Chuckee? Really?), we thought we should give you an update about the group’s upcoming album. This album was actually supposed to have dropped by now, but the release date keeps getting pushed back. By the time it’s actually released, most of the songs are probably already going to have been leaked. Officially though, December 21 is the release date.
We’ve assembled what’s been released/leaked so far and we’ve also given you the album’s cover artwork and track listing. Check it all out below. By no means will this be an amazing album, but with some crazy verses from Drake, Lil Wayne, and possibly even Tyga, it might not be too bad.

This is a must-get song: Drop The World by Lil Wayne & Eminem. Although Lil Wayne’s upcoming rock album Rebirth keeps getting pushed back and quite frankly no one seems all that excited about it, Wayne keeps pumping out hot tracks that’ll be on the album. Eminem teams up with him this time for a pretty hot track. Check out Drop The World below and download it.
