Yeah, I thought it was a joke too. But that’s the name of his new album single, and it’s pretty sick. In fact, I’ve listened to it three times in a row…and I don’t really plan on stopping.

DJ Skeet Skeet is pretty dope. He often takes popular songs and puts a new, catchy, sped up beat on them. He does it this time with Mike Posner’s Cooler Than Me and the product is pretty nice.

If the name Eric Holljes sounds somewhat familiar, it’s probably because you’ve heard him featured in a few Mike Posner songs. The two went to Duke together, and Holljes collaborated with Posner on many songs and even co-wrote “Cooler than Me,” the song that’s making its rounds on the radio currently and helping to make Mike famous.
Holljes has a bunch of different music projects going, as you can see on his personal website. He’s super talented, and he’s got an amazing voice. One of his best songs, “Good in My Hood,” is also gonna be redone by Mike Posner for his upcoming album. Mike Posner talks about his upcoming debut album, 35 Minutes to Takeoff. I was pretty surprised by a lot of what he said (no guest features?!), but I trust Mike and I think it’s gonna be a really good album.

Mike rocks out with 2am Club, Chiddy Bang, and Big Sean at UNC, then he heads back to Duke to turn in his final paper. It’s the final episode of the series, but keep your eye on Mike Posner. He’s doing big things this year.

Elitaste just announced Mike Posner’s tour dates for the next few months. I’ve seen Posner live, and he puts on a great show, so it’s definitely worth going to see him at one of these smaller venues before he hops on the Warped Tour this summer.
