Chiddy Bang

Chiddy Bang announced this week that they’ll head out on their first headlining tour throughout the west coast, a product of their much buzzed about first single, “Opposite of Adults,” and their EP of the same title, both available now on iTunes.

The Opposite of Adults Tour is hot off Chiddy Bang’s successful 20-city UK tour, which followed recent sold out shows across the US with Passion Pit, The Clipse, Kid Cudi and Three 6 Mafia.

The 15 city tour kicks off on June 6 at Nuemos in Seattle and ends on June 23 in San Francisco. It’s scheduled to hit the Midwest and East Coast starting in August and will also feature performances by The Pack, XV and 2am Club.

Chiddy Bang is also going to be rocking Lollapalooza and the UK Festivals Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds.

Chiddy Bang’s four-track EP, Opposite of Adults, will be released on June 1, 2010 through Virgin Records/EMI Music, but this week, the EP is available exclusively on iTunes as part of their “Next Big Thing” promotion.

Kid Cudi recently announced that he will be joining Lady Gaga on her “The Monster Ball” Tour. After Kanye West dropped out of the tour last second, Cudi stepped in. Two contrasting feelings came to mind when I heard this last week: 1) Lady Gaga sucks 2) Cudi could benefit from such a large-scale tour. Although I feel like I would have to get payed to see Gaga in concert, it might be worth the ear-bleeding and eye-popping from her terrible music and horrendous fashion sense just to hear Cudder. Cudi is an unbelievable performer so if you can stand listening/seeing Lady Gaga, then be sure to hit up this tour if it comes to your town. Kid Cudi is worth the pain.
